With Subtitle Joiner you can easily place your subtitles on your videos. This is done by placing the text on your video frames, called Hardsub. Simply select your video, subtitle, subtitle settings and output location and you can start the process. Subtitle settings contains: Font family, size; Text color; Text margin from border; Text alignment.The application supports all of the popular video formats (like avi, mkv, ..) and codecs. You can also change the output format and convert your video to a new format.

Pros
First i didn't thought it would be anything good. But it was wonderful. I mean it was free, it didn't have any ads, is was simple to use, it had many features and a progress bar to show status.
Cons
Quite a weak and old-fashioned GUI.

All I wanted was something to stitch subtitles to a movie with, the description of this certainly matches what I want, but when I used it, it took over 3 hours just to attach subtitles to the movie(I did not want video to be converted or adjusted but it automatically did it any way).<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Jun 16, 2013<p/>I lost my patience and cancelled process, what was a 700mb mp4 file left over 25 GB of pictures from the movie(???). Sorry but I do not recommend using this.
