Just scan the QR-code and you're instantly connected to your PC.Our goal is to re-establish the status quo and to make you in control of your own media again. Streampie is for those who don't want to pay for content they already own, those who are tired of not having enough storage on their on-the-move devices and keep forgetting to update their playlist. But most of all those who have enough of the centralization of media content, making you pay for playing rather than making you own.So how it work? Streampie works by running a straightforward application on your computer or media entertainment system. You then open the Streampie app on your mobile phone and scan the QR code on your computer screen. Our server makes it possible for direct communication between your mobile device and your computer. So no annoying cloud services are standing in your way. Find the song you want to play of video you want to watch on your mobile device and your done.

[Please note] Streampie does not work with a server, but communicates directly with your mobile devices. Because of this your computer has to be on when using Streampie. We advice you to run Streampie on a system that is usually turned on, for example a home media system.

[Security & privacy] At Streampie we value your privacy. As stated before your data does not go through or server. Streampie does not require any sort of registration and is designed to run of the shelf. The data that flows between your devices is encrypted using industry graded protocols. This adds an extra layer of security to your media streams. However, we strongly advice you to always use Streampie on trusted and secured networks as an extra precaution against hackers.
