This program lets you create customized cross-stitch patterns, though you may find the busy design daunting. Stitch Shop's basic interface is crowded with a multitude of buttons and controls to add and edit stitches, motifs, and even your own photos to create a digital cross-stitch chart. The program would benefit from inclusion of tool tips and a Help file, and isn't as intuitive as others in the category. It does, however, work with nearly any image type and offers a number of ways to import and manipulate them. Though the disabling of the save and print options is understandable in a demo version, the trial doesn't permit you to preview your patterns either. Stitch Shop downloads as a compressed RAR file and you'll need to have an app that specifically handles this file type. This complex application isn't for the novice user, but more advanced users might appreciate its capabilities.

Doesn't even run

None; couldn't get it to run.
Cons
Comes in a "pre-installed" folder. But when I click on as.exe (the only executable file in the entire .zip), I just get a window popup telling me to "Please visit http://www.autodigitiz.com for upgrade information!" Yeah, no such website.
Summary
Pointless download. I hope someone reads this so the time writing it was worth it...

Have none <p>Program froze my system on first use. i'm using XP Pro 2.4 Ghz Pentium 4 Processer With A Gig Ram on A Dell Dimension 8200
Cons
Can't open large files <p>I tried to open a 48-bit picture I had previusly scanned with a total size of 45.7 MB locked up my system waited 15 min before a I had to do a hard reboot
