Input information about your stamps, but you may be overwhelmed by all the options. The program comes with nice printing options to produce standard reports, labels, and file cards.

This humongous, comprehensive stamp-collection database application packs a punch, but oddly lacks useful features. StampManage has an advanced but well-organized interface that novices may find intimidating. Select the Values tab to find this application's treasure; it comes preloaded with thousands of database entries from several countries from 2001 and 2003 through 2006.

Curiously, it's lacking a robust search feature. Nor is it capable of printing stamp images (some of which are fuzzy) and only provides a limited number of images in this trial version. Despite its gargantuan file size and its flaws, serious collectors will be impressed with StampManage.

Stamp Manage USA 2012 is very easy to use. Nice clean interface. Lots of information can be entered for each stamp. The program even includes many variations of each stamp. And the reports - many different types.
Cons
None that I'm aware of.

Awesome program. I'd highly recommend it to anyone who has a stamp collection and wants to maintain some type of inventory.

This program meets all the needs i have in creating a comprehensive database collection! It really has everything that's needed. And its full of great functions that only a seasoned stamp collector would have the sense to include. For example, the direct integration to eBay, for both buying and selling is superb, and a real time saver. It really is the perfect program to manage a large collection in minute detail. I recommend it very highly!
Cons
Its big and its very comprehensive, especially with the huge picture database. And because of that, it can run slow if you have an underpowered machine. The solution is to have plenty of CPU power, a powerful graphic card, and plenty of RAM and a big HDD. If you do that, then it works like a dream! And fortunately, one can get this at a reasonable cost today. And, if you have a gaming machine, you have a great hardware platform!

I highly recommend Stamp Manage to everyone who has a comprehensive collection, and who wish to include all kinds of details and information for each stamp. And anyone who buys or sells regularly on eBay will be especially glad for the direct interconnection to eBay. It simplifies the process of listing immensely, while at the same time allowing one to comprehensively manage all the details of information on every single stamp. I had a hard dick drive crash recently, and within 24 hours, i received fast and responsive tech support, and had it re-installed and running smoothly. It's actually the best tech response I've had from any supplier! Stamp Manage really does manage the chaos of the details in collecting, and it also allows one to choose the level of information required. Just be sure that you have a strong machine to run it on. Then, it will operate smoothly, and you will cruise through it without any problems. For the comprehensive stamp collector: if you have not yet tried Stamp Manage, you really should do yourself a favor!

Allows user to add stamps not included in the delivered database. User can add or change stamp pictures in the database.
Cons
Company does not respond to customer inquires, before or after sale. Only corrects bugs with new chargeable update of software package. If you require company support forget it from Liberty Street. This include question that are not covered in their provided manual.

One of the cheaper data base files available for the catorigation of stamps.
Cons
Sloppy program No support Numerous bugs ie. my austria stamps save to australia! Very small number of world stamps. To input a stamp that is not in a file you need to 1). use add stamp window 2). when trying to save this you'll be told you cannot 3). must close add stamp window 4). must reopen add stamp window 5). can then save your stamp but who knows in what country it will be entered.

looks good but does not work. NO support at all. kept crashing with blue screen each time i loaded a picture. not much use to me. values seemed all wrong.

found it not so friendly to install. Took forever to download then would not install.
Summary
stay away simply because there is NO support for this product. Even their own support forum goes ignored. I am peeved at the waste of my time.

Took forever to download & took 4 hours to install & then it crashed & would not run. Called & emailed for support & no reply after 3 days. Tried again yesterday. No response. Got a friend to help & did something about running admin on my win 7 pc

Worst experience I have ever had with any program. I am an average PC user & know my way around the basics. 4 hours to download. The lack of support is what clinched me to dump this program. After I finally got the program installed ( with help from a techy friend ) I was thoroughly disappointed. The pictures were not there. Back to my techy & he spent 1 hour fixing it. After we got that going, the pictures were terrible. wrong colors, blurry & many missing. i was willing to live with that. But, the data in the program is incomplete & downright wrong. prices were all over the place. No way to enter my collection the way i want to. I enter a plate block of 12 stamps & it says my qty is 1. very difficult to navigate. Could not enter any new stamps that they do not list & there are plenty. The reports are not very good. They say it's easy to create your own. I spent 45 minutes trying to make a very basic report. Waste of time. Overall, I spent good money & about 4 days of pure frustration. I will be contacting the credit card company for a full refund. The people who make this do not respond to emails or calls. some say this is a great program , but I wonder if they have tried it or have ever had to get help. BUYER BEWARE sara

I Received this software as a b-day present. I use it every day, especially the ebay search features. I've tried all the other stamp collecting software out there, this is the best hands down.

the 2009 values will not import and cause the software to crash. Despite repeated attempts by myself and other users no tech support is forthcoming.
Summary
I finally have time to work with my stamps again and wish to get my database working. I have used your program since 2003 and find the recent lack of responsiveness in the forums disturbing. You have also not responded and resolved my problem. I guess it is possible that something got trapped as spam but unlikely as I check the filters every week. History: On 10/4/08 I downloaded the update and spent the afternoon working with it, that evening I sent the following: ?I purchased, downloaded and installed the 2009 upgrade. First you should know; the first time I downloaded the file was 110 M and would not install. The second time I downloaded it was 163 M and didn?t install. The third time it was 241M (in both Firefox and IE7). Finally the fourth time it was 674 M and it did install. The program opens fine, but there are no 2009 values. I got a couple error messages flash by during the install about missing tables or something. When I tried to apply the 2009 values I got a message ? ?Primary Key? is not an index in this table?. When I go to the values tab and click 2009 I don?t see anything there.? On 2/22/09 I lucked into hitting the website while someone was there First I sent this in response to the discussion: ?It locked up again the second time. This looks like a backup from last night when I was in. I don?t have any zip files, but I made one.? With a file attached. Then an hour or so later I sent: ?The third time I just let it run in the background. Took 25 minutes to complete and the file size is the same but here it is in case it helps? I have yet to receive a response. I also see that aygirard posted on the support forum last November ?On 10/20, I reported a problem with SM 2009 after and SM2007-to-SM2009 upgrade. All seemed OK untill I notice that the entire 2009 value table was missing. Admin suggeted that I forward my Stampmanage DB so that it could be corrected. I forwarded my DB via email and followed up with several notes. However I haven't heard a peap from anyone. At this point my SM 2009 is totally useless. If this can't be resolved, I'd like to get my money back and move on to something else to track my collections.? Looks like he got no response either. I expect a response no later than Monday evening or I will proceed under the assumption that StampManage has no interest in my business and has devolved into just another internet scam. It is a shame because I love the software. . . when it works.
