SSS Kidword offers several types of spelling activities that involve unscrambling words or typing missing letters to get the correct spelling.

This program comes with a large list of standard words, but it also includes the ability to add to the master list or even create a custom dictionary. However, additional customization features such as the ability to change the quiz background do not enhance the learning experience. Major drawbacks include the frequent nag screen that disables your computer for up to two minutes and error messages that prompt the users to change the word length during certain tasks.

This basic learning tool may be helpful, but due to a lack of features, parents should use the trial version before they buy.
