  Pros

  Easy-to-use, pretty and smart software. There are the same products for Oracle, PostgreSQL and SQLite.

  Cons

  There is no Russian or Ukrainian translation.

  Summary

  I've used it about 5 years and want to say thanks to its developers.

  SUPER RUDE,RUDE, RUDE SUPPORT - Company must be run out of a basement with a one person staff! Documentation is written on the back of a cocktail napkin (and most of it is written in Kleon)!

  Summary

  This product is 'good' but has some major bugs in it - for instance, you can use a 'mask' but cannot format the output, so a mask of 999.999.9999 might show up on the form with a length of 35 and there is no way to fix it! Also, if you create a decimal (4,2) you MUST enter anything less than 100 precede by a '0' - this really is poor quality control as I see it. I have too much time invested in this product to change now, but for the next version a complete rewrite is justified - and will undertaken! I strongly suggest you give this company any further business and hopefully it will vanish off the map as I can't believe how rude they (really I thinks it is a 'mom and pop' company) support is.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Apr 18, 2012<p/>The review I posted above was incorrect in a number of ways, first, the review was NOT for SQL Maestro for MySQL. Second, it was for PHP Generator for MySQL. I have been out of the development environment for a while and PHP was totally new to me as well as MySQL (as an Oracle DBA/Designer I have very little contact with any other products other than Oracle DB's and Oracle Forms). The 'skill set transfer' was not as easy as I thought! I now have had more time to work with PHP Generator for MySQL and find it fits my need pretty well. I do have to say the documentation is aimed at a more experienced PHP person and a solid understand of MySQL would go a long way. The support has improved and they do respond within a reasonable amount of time. Again, the above review was written in hast and out of frustration (on my part).

  It is like smoke and mirrors. Eye candy, because it promise so much...

  I have made the mistake of asking a relevant question from support and I received an answer back in the line of stupid people should not use their software.

  Summary

  If a company is so rude and arrogant before you have purchased, can you imagine how their support is after you have paid for the product. Direct extract from their email to me: "this helps us to avoid answering a lot of other stupid questions before and after the purchasing" To be honest I would have been stupid if I did not ask questions, because I might have bought from such a company. Luckily their answer convince me to go with Scriptcase and PHPrunner and my website was up and running in less time than it took them to realize my question wasn't stupid their software was. Stay away as far as you can!

• Best MySQL manager GUI I've found

  Pros

  The built in database diagram editor with reverse engineering works extremely well, as does the table and data editor. Everything is laid out well and it's very easy to do even moderately complicated tasks using the built in tools.

  Cons

  It doesn't handle foreign keys and indices creation and deletion very well, unlike MySQL Query Browser table editor.

  Summary

  Completely worth the money - I would recommend this product to anyone needing an advanced MySQL manager and editor.

  Pros

  It looks good and its easy to navigate through. I was adding tables and data in minutes to an existing database.

  Cons

  Data entry is rubbish. If I break a foriegn key contraint it doesnt realise, submits the data, waits five minutes then breaks. Entering numbers requires clicking on -/+ icons (ignores writen enteries). Write backs to database are slow.
