Speedy Shopper is a whiz at creating shopping lists, though it lacks cost tracking. The New Store wizard gets you off to a good start, with numerous categories such as health and beauty, bakery, and dairy. You can create an aisle-by-aisle layout for stores you frequent so your list can flow with the store's design. Speedy Shopper has numerous standard items listed for you to add to your list and you can add and delete items and categories to personalize the program. You can store coupon amounts and expiration dates with selected items, and this clever software even gives warnings when coupons are approaching expiration. Convenient check boxes can be added to your list, and you can change fonts within the program and for your printed list. Lists are saved and printable in Speedy Shopper or in PDF format and can be e-mailed. We even added errands such as trips to the bank and post office. We only wish the program included an option to insert and edit prices to estimate the total cost of grocery lists. Even so, you'll find it hard to forget anything using this program's user-friendly approach to creating shopping lists.
What’s new in version 1.5
In Version 1.5, coupons can now have expiration dates (which will notify the user to throw the coupon away once its expired). You can now also disable coupons for a particular store that doesn't accept them (like price clubs). You can now add errands to the top or bottom of the shopping list, as handy reminders.

I settled in the other day to do some updating on it and was so frustrated with it I went in search to see if anything new had hit the market and found Speedy Shopper. It is simply FANTASTIC! It gives a 30-day free trial but I could tell in just a couple of days that it would be silly waiting out the time as this was the program I'd been hoping would be developed and have purchased it. You can add and delete items with ease. Add what categories you want and delete categories and then set them up for how you go through the store. If you shop at more than one store you can make others with just a few clicks. I primarily wanted it for groceries but I KNOW I'm going to easily incorporate it for use with other shopping as well. I simply can't say enough with how thrilled I am with it and I know this is going to prove to be invaluable to me."
I really wish we could change the Editors rating. After downloading and trying at least 9 different programs, this one is by far the EASIEST one to use. I realized after a short time that this program can be personalized TOTATALLY to my stores and my pantry/grocery items without reinventing the wheel each time.
The printing feature is great, you can choose how many column's you want to print. Makes for less amount of sheets to carry with you or to turn around.
Adding items: all of the things that you buy the most, or things that you always forget to buy, can be added and they will stay there. That is a big plus for me. I don't like to keep typing in the same item over and over again, that is how I forget those items.
Layout for more than one store: I can't wait to go and get the aisle #'s for the stores that I shop in. Just once it would be nice to shop without back tracking. I think this is going to be that answer for me.
It's simple and easy to use. Yes, there are something I'd like to add to my wish list, but basically it does what the name refers to. If they don't get added, so be it. I'm just happy that the program is uncomplicated and works well.
Great software. Does what it says. Makes shopping a breeze!
