  Since I have downloaded this program so have my pc been much faster then it was in the beginning, so I can only recommend this for everyone to use.

  Cons

  I have not have any kind of problem so far.

  Summary

  If I shall compare the speed from the beginning when it has to do with the hardware so is my pc strong and fast, but with this program even if it is a pretty small or tiny one, so are the difference huge now, so please use it when you can, and then shall you have a quick pc who shall respond very quickly everytime.

  Poorly written, or on purpose, I don't care.   Pros

  It helps me keeping my pc in good health by cleaning registry and such.

  Cons

  Have not used it for such a long time yet. So far I`m happy with it. I guess you could find things you don`like in any program.

  1) Kills Microsoft Office 2000 <p>2) Doesn't uninstall cleanly. <p>a) Installation / uninstallation requires going to the web. <p>b) Installer puts SpeedOptimizer in Startup - even though it was deselected during the installation process <p>c) Never completes uninstallation process (goes off into limbo). System Restore or manual deinstallation appear to be the only solutions. <p>3) All of the above processes are repeatable.

  I have been using SpeedOptimizer since it was first released years ago. I got as part of a bundle with Download Accelerator. There have alway been problems but there is nothing to like about the new version.

  Cons

  It crashes contantly. SpeedBit tech support is a joke. Their customer service is poor at best. I have been a registered user for years. I got an email about the new release and thought I would try it. Their web site checked my registration and said I was entitled to a free upgrade. 14 days later they billed my card for the upgrade. Shoddy practice if you ask me. Beware!!!

  I tested my net connection at pcpitstop.com before installing and then again after installing. My download kbps increased 50%, my upload increased (but not as dramatically), and my latency was about 10% lower.
