  Pros

  works with most video files. Gives you control on the output. Has sister product to put it all together. Was able to take a big HD type video and cut it to another format, a slight change to the aspect ratio - I think there is a way to fix that. You can make a bunch of selected cuts at the same time.

  Cons

  frame specific control doesn't seem to be there, gets to within a few seconds. No fade or other cool video effects - pretty barebone.

  Pros

  User-friendliness gets an A+. Very easy if you just want to halve some big files. Many options on output quality, file formats. Appears to be also useful as a format converter.

  Cons

  Faster than the other slow-poke file splitters, but still pretty slow. Trial version only gives 50% completion. I cannot be bothered a program that doesn't demonstrate it can do the whole job, so I quit using it. However, it shows more promise than all the other horrid file splitting programs. If I could have used it 100% I might have given it higher marks.
