• Now works with Outlook 2010, but options are far away

  Pros

  Version 5.0.0.120 now works with Outlook 2010.

  Cons

  The Options screen is 4 clicks away, which makes adding extra e-mail addresses a chore.

  Summary

  I would recommend this to anyone looking for a solution to report spam. Adding extra e-mail addresses could enable you to, say, share spam with those spammers who expect a reply. Having said that, the required list is quite far away.

  Pros

  Easy one-click reporting to SpamCop and any other services you can send spam to by email. Gets ALL the headers from Outlook (which normally trashes them).

  Cons

  Has problems with its DLL hanging Outlook if you do any MS Office Updates. If Outlook starts hanging on exit, uninstall SpamSource completely and reinstall it.

  Summary

  If you have to report spam from within Outlook, this is the only tool that actually works and it's free. Those other reviews complaining that it doesn't work under Outlook 2010?? Well DUH. It doesn't claim to. Don't trash a product because you're trying to use it in an unsupported application.
