Send and receive faxes via other computers on the local area network.
Snappy Fax Network Server can simultaneously send and receive multiple faxes using inexpensive fax modems; no expensive dedicated fax boards are required. The Fax server receives incoming faxes and prints them automatically. Outgoing fax jobs are submitted to the server from Snappy Fax, which serves as a client running on the workstations. Network clients are automatically notified when incoming faxes are received and of the results of outgoing fax jobs.
After WinFax disappread, it was great to find a reputable fax program.
Started with single user, upgraded to server version. Recommended to
friends and they love it.
Cons
Upgraded to 6 person server version, then the trouble started. My sys admin has
continually worked on the config with little help from customer service.
Summary
Basically a good program, maybe too many bells & whistles for most folks.
Server version is possessed. It stops auto downloads at will, some clients
will drop out. Out of 3 days, received 44 faxes, 20 failed, but that could be our
modem. My sys admin is not a fan of Snappy Fax server version
THE INFORMATION IS EXCELLENT.

rubbish software, doesn't work

Pros
I don't like this product. It doesn't work. I've wasted five days on it.
Cons
Snappy fax server doesn't work. You send it a lot of faxes, it just sits there. It does nothing useful. It does not send the faxes. Eventually it deigns to send a few of the faxes. Snappy fax is the most awful rubbish software. Avoid.

Summary
Has promise; doesn't install
EnderEd
Pros
From the description, it has promise to work where popular fax server products won't (on XPSP2).
Cons
Simply won't install. Client can't find server, even though it says "Path found?" = Yes. Try to uninstall to do a fresh reinstall, and the client software hangs. This day and age, this should be simpler and I don't have hours to read through the documentation to figure out their loopholes. Bye.

Pros
I finally gave up on the wretched Winfax Pro with the office windows xp migration here, Winfax does'nt work with XP SP2 LAns even after all the fixes on Symantics WWW! I'm still furious about that timewasting rubbish....
<p>However-Looking around for a Fax solution, Snappy fax 3.0 seemed worth a try. Quick download, easy & error free XP sp2 installion on server and clients left clunky winfax miles behind. We were sending faxes in 20 minutes. Nice proper 30 day trial, cheap price too. A bargain.
Cons
No User documentation that I have found, but lots of online help and forum. Cover sheets seem to be hard for users to fathom out. Incomming fax routing needs more work.
Summary
Simply the best on the market

Pros
This fax software is by far the best piece of fax software I have tried and can be relied upon, give this a try, you will NOT be wasting your time. Also the client software integrates very well and both server and client are packed with features/settings to enable customisation. I cannot think of any facility this software is lacking in, Hence 10 out of 10 in my opinion. If like me, your business needs backup if and when you need it, the support via email was more than just excellent.

Summary
I have never received the server that I've received from the snappyfax team. I install lots of fax systems, and this is by far the highest level of support that I've encountered. This product is highly recommended for those who want to steer away from products I've had awful experiences with, such as WinFax PRO 10.
