- The golden appel snail picture use in Snailfile is illegally copied from Applesnail.net. Somehow, the makers of this software package do not make any attempt to remove it, despite numberous request to do so.

Keeps my house bills and snail mail organized

- This is really simple software that works just great. I just drag scanned pics of my snail mail into it, type in a few details and the filing is done! I'm using it to organize my house bills, bank statements, receipts and bits of paper which otherwise would be cluttering up my desk. I still keep the paper documents but don't need to worry so much about filing them away properly. If I lose the original paper I can always print a duplicate from Snailfile.

- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I purchased this a while back after swaping emails with the developer. I was told that there was going to be some good development in the coming months. Needless to say it has been a longgggg time and still no improvements. I really wish someone would run with this idea and create a nice piece of software. I obviously through away the money on this one! Don't do the same. I have not received any responses from the developer on what is going on with this program. I believe he has abandoned the project all together.

- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />Great [great] idea - poor excecution! Will only first the page of multi-page PDF docuements. The quality of docuements is badly degraded making them illegible. A single point archiving tool is a great idea - fantastic in fact. However Snailfile is not the solution [yet]. Lets hope someone else picks up on this idea, if only to give SnailFile the incentive to improve.
