SMSCMD allows you to send SMS from Window Command prompt to your mobile phones directly through the Internet. It can be called from other applications and can be put on schedule list.

Run directly. No installation is needed. Two ways to execute the programs. Syntax 1: smscmd "sms text" "phone1,phone2,phone3" "email" "password" Syntax 2 : smscmd "sms text" "phone1,phone2,phone3" or smscmd "text.txt" "phone.txt" . input from .txt file

No comment in the pros section, I didn't try it.

It is listed as freeware, but you have to: #1, register at their site, then you get some free "credits" #2, when the credits run out, you must PURCHASE more. Nowhere does it say what you get for a credit. One message per credit, 10 messages, 3 credits per message? Poor. Mark.

Pros
Amazing. This make SMS notification so easily. Monitoring the temperature and triggered this small program to send SMS alert to mobile. Also I do receive SMS in seconds in Italy. Experience is quit good for their SMS service. It is stable.
Cons
none. no installation needed. Just exec it.

It does help on SMS notification. Any programs, tools can call this tool. It does make send SMS easily. No need to do any additional programming for SMS alert to mobile. Just call this. Good !!!

It is the most simple way to send SMS which I ever found >>> smscmd "this is test" "61412345678" "michael" . And can be called by my programs to get instant alerts
