Smarty Uninstaller is a good tool for ridding your computer of unwanted programs, especially those that sink in deep roots. While the Windows Uninstaller that comes with your operating system can get rid of many apps just fine, others require a little more force and finesse, which is what you'll find in this app.

Pros

Digging deeper: The first step this program takes is to run the uninstaller that comes with the app you're trying to remove. However, while many file managers would stop there, this program goes deeper. After that uninstaller is finished, this app searches for remaining files associated with the removed program and gives you the option to delete them as well. You can also use the Force Uninstall feature to eliminate particularly stubborn apps.

Snapshot file: If you have this app running when you install a new program, you can use the Snapshot Install tool to monitor the installation process itself. This involves keeping track of changes the new app makes to your system, including any changes to files on your Hard Drive or in your Windows Registry, so the program can later be removed without running its own uninstaller.

Cons

Dangers of inexperience: Because it does dig so deep, this app can be dangerous in the hands of inexperienced users. Some of the files it brings back as associated with a removed app are actually files shared by other programs you want to keep, and deleting them will cause those programs to stop working. This isn't so much of an issue for experienced users, however.

Bottom Line

Smarty Uninstaller is a powerful option for getting rid of unwanted apps on your Windows machine. New users may have a hard time determining what files to remove and what to leave in place in some cases, but overall, the app is a good choice for most people.

Its a joke of a uninstaller!

- None, leaves a ton of traces behind!
Cons
+ Uses a lot of RAM! That makes the system heavy and unusable. + Leaves residues of removed programs. + Sometimes it removes far more than necessary and makes the system unstable.
Summary
Go for Revo uninstaller, its much better.

I used this program to remove preinstalled office 2010 (it's to pay for if you want to use it) as I already had office 2007 and I wasn't about to pay for office 2010. When I used this program to removed office 2010 it also removed office 2007 without me knowing it untill I tried to use office 2007 and then I got the message "only for installed programs" it was at this point that I realised that office 2007 had gone along with office 2010. I have reinstalled office 2007 but it no longer works correctly, this program has done something within Windows 7 that is interfering with office 2007 and I have no idea what. Be warned, use this program with exreme care or you may lose programs that you don't want to lose.
Works fine but with one quirk.

Removes the no longer used registry entries.
Cons
It sometimes thinks that the removal was aborted when in fact it was not. Then it is hard to determine if it wants you to reboot at the time of the message or wait until the removal is finished.

It didn't uninstall what I needed it to. Simple as that. I would uninstall it even if it was free.

I would suggest looking elsewhere if you want to completely remove software, malicious or not.

I have only removed one program but that seemed to go well.
Cons
When you execute it will give a pop-up saying x programs have been installed and ... The problem is that the pop-up does not stay up long enough and I don't know what was after the "been installed"
