Feature rich, easy to use information manager

Smart Diary Suite Medical Edition has an integrated diary, scheduler, not organizer, and to-do list. The diary feature is exceptional. In addition to basic journaling, you can create and track "Life Factors," such as exercise, moods, dreams, weight, etc. in as much detail as you want. You can also track your diet and medication schedule. A pain mapping function allows you to visually document what parts of the body hurt. You can completely customize what you choose to monitor and graph trends over time. The scheduler, note organizer, and to do list functions are also powerful and are not afterthoughts like they are in some diary programs. I like the overview tab that allows you to see your diary, schedule, tasks, and note listings all on one screen. The program has been around for over a decade and the developer is responsive to questions and regularly updates the program.
Cons
Would like to see built-in nutrition info in future updates.

This is a comprehensive yet easy to use program to help you organize every aspect of your life. The program is suited to both healthy people who want to stay that way and to people who want to monitor on a medical condition.

Pros
Medical Edition helps people with Fibromyalgia keep track of every aspect of their health, pain, feelings, schedules, medications, and has the ability to add your own items to keep track of.
Cons
Doesn't interface with Microsoft Outlook or sync with any other PIM software.
Summary
Worth looking into. Programmer still updates the software, which is appreciated.
This is a unique and very customizable PIM.

Pros
This program offers just about all one could ask for in a home PIM. It has a diary, calendar, tasks, notes, nutrition, medications, and a contacts section. It also has a community link directly to the Smart Diary Suite community forum. The nutrition section allows you to keep track of what you eat, with areas to enter all the nutritional facts of said food, but also allows you to make a grocery list, as well as save recipes. A unique function to this PIM is the Life Factors. Life Factors help you track any kind of data you want them to, and does it with a graph. I use them for many things, like tracking my pain. The user interface has several themes to it, and the calendar entries are as nice Outlook 2007.
Cons
Not able to sick to any other device or to Outlook, or Google.
Summary
