Though targetted to UK tax bands, it may be customised for US and other tax systems with or without assistance from CliftonVilla Software. Integrity checks are included. Full documentation is also included, both embedded, and as a separate Word document. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.

Pleasantly surprised the 1-hr set-up claim realistic (for once!) Great value too

Pros
Pros: Quick to set up; intuitive frames and esay to switch between cells & frames when inputting; really liked the personal/ customisation features of the software - genuinely feel like my business has bought a custom built product, rather than your usual, generic off-the shelf variety. <p> <p>I've relatively recently set up my own business and am not especially accounting-minded, but found this easy to navigate - the ability to guage the likely tax liability at any point is especially good for budgeting and provisioning.
Cons
Cons: Although it does take a bit of time initially to really establish your preferred short codes, I'm already benefitting from the time savings, now I know exactly what each code relates to in my business. <p> <p>No other negatives so far!
