According to many researches screen time > 7 hr per week increases the chance of myopia (particularly office worker and kids) and this can be reduced by taking short breaks during long hours of screen time. Excess screen time also effects our cognitive skills by changing the structure of our brain. iHASCO suggests that short, frequent breaks are better than less frequent longer breaks, so a 5-10 minute break after 50-60 minutes is better than a 20 minute break every 3 hours.
Screetime lets the user to set a time interval to work or play games. Then it reminds him/her to take a short break. It also suggest the break time with the help of 20-20 rule & pomodoro technique.Secondly it keeps record of the users screen time in a weekly basis and if it exceed 7 hr before 7 days, it warns the user.Besides this it let us configure the interface too. Users can also listen to music during breaks.hence Screetime assures you that it will make you productive and your eyes safe.
