rollingPlan is a simple, flexible, and easy-to-learn planning aid implemented as a COM Add-in for Microsoft Excel. It allows you to create manually, or automatically Rolling Production Plans taking into consideration specific limitations like Target Stock Levels, and capacity Constraints, along with more general restrictions such as Inventory Position Targets. You can roll your plans in various types of Time Buckets, and various lengths of the Planning Horizon. Your plans may include SKUs produced specifically on a given Work Center, as well as SKUs manufactured on several Production Lines at different Production Rates, Efficiencies, and Minimum Lot Sizes. You can save your plans, and retrieve them either fully or partially later on.rollingPlan could also be viewed as a collection of interconnected Worksheets which allow you to organize the various types of data needed to build your plans in a structured way .
