RoboBasket lets you manage and monitor a large number files at one time. Though we found some its features a bit confusing, its batch processing features worked as promised.

The program's bland user interface could be better designed for navigation, but it didn't take long to get the hang of it. When not in use, the program sits in your system tray until you click on it. Using the link provided in the Quick Start guide, we were able to browse for and select a folder containing multiple Word documents. From there, we were taken to the Rule Settings tab where we were able to easily name a rule and drag-and-drop conditions and actions for our files. For example, we opted to move all files with the name "Test" to our desktop. When renaming and changing file extensions, be sure to back up or copy your original files: RoboBasket doesn't have an undo feature, so you're stuck with the results. We were a little confused by the Start Watching Folders feature. We expected some kind of configuration options, but clicking the command sent the program back to the system tray. RoboBasket does include a Help link that takes you to its Web site, but it didn't offer any kind of explanation or guidance for the Start Watching Folders feature.

RoboBasket installed without any issues, but it did leave behind a folder in our Program Files that had to be removed. Despite its weird fold watch feature, we recommend it as a simple batch processing program.

RoboBasket is an automatic file sorter that can copy, move, rename and process files based on the user configured set of rules. You can choose to process files based on their date, size, extension, mp3 tags, file name and other properties and choose from action that include move, copy, rename, delete, open, print and other file operations. RoboBasket can monitor whatever folders (e.g. your desktop, your downloads) you choose and process the files in the folders automatically. You can save hours of time and keep your computer files organize quickly and painlessly. RoboBasket keeps detailed log of all actions and also allows you to quickly search for files that have been processed. You don't have to dig files from your hard disk any more.
