This application easily converts multiple files from one format to another, though file formats are limited. File Conversion Wizard for Word and Excel's straightforward interface is comprehensible, and its clear, and step-by-step instructions further ease the learning curve. Basic pull-down menus let you select a folder to work with, as well as the file for conversion and for the output file.

As long as the file formats you're using are recognized by Microsoft Word and Excel, you're good to go. You'll be able to convert files in RTF, HTML, CSV, DOC, and TXT formats, along with a few others. During testing, the program quickly scanned the selected folder and displayed files with the specified file format. Since each file listed is checked for conversion by default, a simple uncheck of the files to be excluded in the transfer was nearly effortless. The conversion process was quick, though this demo severely tags newly converted files. Despite the trial restriction, users will find file conversion with this application to be a virtual cakewalk.

"Missing File?" Did not work.

Summary
tried reinstalling, to no avail. wanted to batch convert about 80 html files to doc files, no good.

NONE!! MY Computer has several viruses because of this POS "software" and they also installed a stupid arcade and gambling program, where I otherwise did not have that installed!! They also got my phone number somehow, and started spamming my phone number with trying to get me to input my account number! WTF?? All I wanted to do was to convert my .WPS doc to a .DOC file and now I have to deal with this BS!!!

IT DOESN'T WORK AND IT GAVE ME SEVERAL VIRUSES AND GOT MY PHONE NUMBER/PERSONAL INFO SOMEHOW!! I had a really bad feeling about this once I opened it and saw that the only thing the "read me" file said "you are fine".. BULL!!!

Program will convert a large numbers of files quickly. Saves a lot of time opening and converting manually.

Would be nice if it would allow you to keep a default setup, as I use this every day to convert reports I receive. I do get an erroneous error each time I open the program, saying I have a word or xcel file open and to close it first, just have to hit ignore when opening. This may be a result of Outlook being open which uses word to compose.

Requires Word and Excel to be installed. Gave error when I ran it, requiring Word/Excel. Since MS Office can convert from one format to another, what is the point of this program, if it "requires" Word/Excel?
Summary
It's rather pointless to have a converter for a program if you need a program that will do the same thing to start with. I wanted it to convert .csv to .xls format for Calc format. I've got Office on a different machine, but I don't appreciate a program like Conversion Wizard claiming to do something, then not doing it, with the excuse that you somehow need a program that makes Conversion Wizard pointless. I can convert using Word or Excel if I wanted to.

Coverted wps to doc without a hitch; sent new files to a new folder I created. From the time I clicked the cnet download button to finish conversion of 200+ files from multiple subfolders... took less than 5 min.
