• Drum Machine that actually works

  Pros

  Very impressed with this software considering twenty dollar price. Trial version has all features working except it adds clicks to your mixdown, so you can play with every feature before buying. Included drum samples are pretty good, but it's very easy to add more off the net or other programs. You can tweak practically every parameter, even adjust drum hit volumes and pan left/right for single drums. Works with any tempo or time signature, you can even change these within a single song. Within 2 hours of download I had created an entire drum track for my rather complicated song. Extremely easy to understand GUI and the user guide is actually useful. By far the most powerful drum maching software I've found for less than several hundred bucks, and it's VERY easy to use too. As installed it is better suited to rock or metal than electronica, but since you can add any drum samples, the sky's the limit.

  Cons

  None, really. There could be some more features to make compposing more efficient, but everything really important is here.

  Pros

  If you're looking for a simple tool to add drums to your recordings, look no further. Simple to use and easy to understand. The best by far I've ever used.

  Pros

  I was highly satisfied with this product. Not only is it very user friendly, but it sounds great too. I plan to use it in all of my future recordings.

  Cons

  It would be nice to have more variety of drums from the start instead of having to add, and the demo version inserts clicks into your wav files. But other than that, no real problems!

  Well, it wouldn't even load. every time I tried I got an error 2577. I downloaded it 3 times and loaded it 4. same thing. I couldn't even get it load so I couldn't use it!!

  Pros

  I have been through a handfull of drum programs for my home recording and this one does it all for me. Plus it was designed for use with hard rock so you can easily make it sound like Lars Ulrich from Metallica with ease! If you are playing any other type of music its just as easy. I am retiring my copy of DRUMS! for good.
