  I make screencaps so naming each file is pointless. This software made it easy for me to organize those files.

  Cons

  no bugs, spyware, malware etc. <p>classic looking software O(>_<)O You have to select files one at a time. (*but it will still rename by batch*). If you want to rename 100 files you have to click on them one by one then start renaming.

  it only lets you hack off one letter at a time, and you have to reselect all of the files each time, so if you have four letters to hack off, then it could take a little longer.

  It renames my files in batches. Brilliant! I have to sort out so many files, and doing it by hand just isnt great at all when your dealing with over 70MB of image files heh. The only thing I would wish changed is drag highlight facility on the selecting the files as clicking them all individually is irritating. Still way faster than doing it by hand thou ;)

  What a bunch of grouches. This is an excellent little utility that does exactly what it says it will do. It's free - what more do you want. Thank you to the author who expended his time and effort - it saved me mucho time

  It does exactly what it's supposed to do, after looking around for a while I finally found this. It only has a small problem with the selection that has to be done file by file, and you can't select them all using shift+click
