Registry Trash Keys Finder is a simple program that does just that. This no-frills program identifies and deletes invalid Registry keys that take up space and contribute to poor system performance.

Once Registry Trash Keys Finder is launched, it automatically scans the computer's Registry, which for us took only a few seconds. The interface is pretty bare bones, listing the resulting trash keys in white on a black background. The program advises users to inspect each key to determine if it should be deleted, and this is where users need to be careful; the program will give you a list of broken Registry keys, but that's no guarantee that they should all be deleted. We don't advise users to go mucking around in their Registry unless they know what they're doing. To its credit, Registry Trash Keys Finder does have a feature that allows users to quickly search Google for information about each Registry key, which can help you figure out what you're dealing with. The program includes a Help file, but don't expect much in the way of guidance. Overall, we thought Registry Trash Keys Finder worked just fine, but it's not a good choice for users who expect many features or need some instruction when it comes to Registry cleaning.

Version 3.9.1.1 added an ability to switch between 32-bit and 64-bit modes on the fly, that is without restarting the program and fixed incomplete support of XP styles in "Program Options" dialog.

Registry Trash Keys Finder finds unwanted registry data. With Registry Trash Keys Finder you can streamline the registry and perhaps even improve Windows' speed and reliability. Registry "debris" from improper uninstallation routines is a major problem in Windows. RTKF helps users address this issue by giving them software that finally lets them take control of those sometimes "hidden" registry entries used by trial period software. Unfortunately this software has an annoying habit of leaving behind data which adds to the size of the registry. Install and then remove a few of these programs and you'll find your system getting slower and perhaps even crashing more.
