Though the trial version only repairs a limited number of registry errors, Registry Sweeper Pro performs quick and efficient scans. It has a clean but limited interface. The program also cleans traces of IE activities and plug-ins. In our trials, it found and displayed several errors after a complete scan but only allowed us to remove items from three Windows Registry sections. You can easily restore items deleted through the program's Restore History feature. The Backup and Restore feature quickly creates backups of your registry or restores it to a previous state. We found the Startup and Uninstall manager easy to use. Novices, however, will find no explanation of registry entry functions. As registry cleaners can unintentionally hurt system performance, we can't recommend this program for beginning users. However, Registry Sweeper Pro is well worth a try for experienced to advanced users.

This program exaggerates the problems with your registry and then tells you you must pay for a registered version to remove these so called 'threats'... if you don't believe me read symantec's (the makers of norton antivirus) report on it - symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2006-032913-3541-99&tabid=1 (you must put the www in front of this address as i had to remove this in order to be able to publish this warning)
