This program improves on the basic Regedit search function, but is unable to search dword values. Registry Finder's interface mimics the familiar Windows search command. Novices through expert users will find this application easy to learn. Registry Finder follows the standard Microsoft options including search and replace. Entries can easily be changed though a direct link to Microsoft's Regedit. The program saves files to undelete entries, but users must merge the entries back into the registry through Windows Explorer. Unlike many similar Registry editors, this application does not search registries in networked PCs. Advanced users familiar with the Registry will find this a helpful, but not comprehensive tool.
