QZ School Management System Free for Windows

We encounter a surprising number of programs that are designed for business use but are themselves somewhat unprofessional. Unfortunately, QZ School Management System Free is one of these programs. Although it seems to have a lot of features at first glance, it has several drawbacks that undermine our ability to take it seriously.

The program's interface somehow manages to be both sleek and cluttered; it has a modern look to it, but each of its tabbed menus contains a whole lot of icons. Once you familiarize yourself with it, however, it's not too difficult to navigate. The program does indeed contain just about everything you'd need to run a daycare or similar facility; users can create separate classrooms and grade levels and assign both staff and students to them. There are tools for tracking staff and student absences, invoicing parents for tuition, viewing monthly birthdays, maintaining a waiting list, managing vehicles and drivers, and much more. An online Help file provides a decent overview of the program's features. Our main issue with QZ School Management System is the large swath of advertising across the bottom of the interface. We realize that this is the free version of the program and that upgrading to the paid version eliminates the ads, but we still found the ads to be annoying. We also encountered at least one instance in which the program crashed while we were using it, and there is text throughout the program that was obviously written by someone whose first language isn't English. Overall, QZ School Management System Free offers a pretty comprehensive set of features, but its advertising and periodic instability are causes for concern.

QZ School Management System Free installs desktop icons without asking but uninstalls cleanly. We recommend this program with reservations.
