Generate random first and last names for use in fiction writing.

If you write fiction, you've probably had times where you were hung up on a name for a minor character. I had this experience myself, so I wrote the Quick Fictional Name program. Quick Fictional Name creates first and last names at random based on a US Census database of names. I started using it so often that I thought I'd share it as freeware, so here it is. As a single EXE file, just copy it onto your hard drive and double click on it to run it.

Pros
I like this app. I am often sidelined while I try to think of appropriate names for characters, resorting to the phone book- it is still good for something - newspapers and more. This app really helps.
Cons
None at this time but I've only been using it a short while.
Summary
If you write fiction of any sort GET THIS. It really is an asset to have among a writer's tools.

Pros
Clean and clear layout.
Cons
As it's based on 'a US Census database of names', many of its suggestions will have a distinctly American feel - which may not be a particularly bad thing if you're writing primarily FOR the American market.
Summary
A godd, simple idea, well executed. If there's any future development, I'd like to see the names in an external, alterable and exchangeable file, to allow for a much wider range of names (particularly useful for Fantasy writing).
