Pros
I installed a version of this software on each Computer in my Hostel. I can restore a brand new computer every single day just after one reboot!
Cons
They should make more marketing of this product, so I could get to it earlier!

Pros
The program is great. I have been testing it for a few months now. It allows you to create separate areas/instances/quabanas(?) so you can install heavier software into one and not have it affect PC performance in the others.
Cons
Like I said, I have installed 5 or six different copies over the last month or two on Windows 7 and XP. Now this last update (3.0 S4 build 406) wiped out my XP. Something about quabanaInstall.sys is corrupt. What's up with that?
Summary
I guess I should have been a little more cautious. It is BETA but it was going so well up until today that I had just installed a couple of big gaming packages. I gave it a four because of its previous track record. I must admit though, I am scratching my head over this one.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Jul 1, 2010<p/>I got my XP back. The Quabana crew sent me a .iso that ran a short script recopying one of their drivers. It worked, no hassles, I'm satisfied.
Avira removed a trojan-dropper from this one.

You can have 2 different system enviroments.

I don't know if it was a false positive from Avira Anti-virus but this thing tried to include a trojan-dropper during install.

I liked it untill the new beta was with a trojan-dropper and why the heck does it try to connect to the net all the time? Hmmm...I thought I better be on the safe side and not have it in my system.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Jun 29, 2010<p/>Quick clarification from the Quabana suppost team. Avira is a paranoid av anyway. If I could change my review, I would give it +4 stars.

Saves me a lot of time, not having to reinstall windows every other week is awesome, specially now that my brother uses my computer to surf his dodgy websites..

I don't need to worry when surfing the net or installing new apps. Always keep a clean machine available.

Needs a bit of discovering process to take advantage of it. Still a beta.

Seems a pretty straightforward way to keep the pc clean. And it is not restrictive. There is always room for mistakes and system can be recovered pretty easily.
