  Pros

  It is fast, and great for a single user on the move. ITs also easy to set up and could be used as an outgoing mail server. HAs Authentication so its secure. Is pretty lightweight, and very cheap.

  Cons

  If you are trying to send newsletters this might not be for you. Tends to crash when sending 200+ emails at once. Also it does crash every now and then, not enough to be real annoying, but enough to not leave on 24/7

  Summary

  This is a cheap little SMTP Server that is perfect for a single user who is moving around, or occaisionally wants to break a typical ISP limit of 50 emails in one hit. You get what you oay for though, and this is not a heavy duty reliable program, but should be enough to suit someone on the move not wanting to constantly change their outgoing mail server settings.

  The product just does not Work. After 2 hours of working, the problems start. Out of memory. Out of resource. I´ve tried in several machines with the same result. Do no try to contact support, because there´s not support. Stay away from this product.

  This software works fine if you can get it to do so, but when it acts up you are in trouble. And when you are in trouble, there is no customer support. It's like the owners of the software have taken the money and run!

  Amazing! Delivers just as promised! Lightening fast send mails and provides options to either send directly or use an ISP smtp server. Enables older program that don't support smtp authentication to send mails through secure smtp servers.

  Cons

  None! Well except maybe the toolbar buttons (on version 2.20) gets mixed up some time (clicking on queue would get to help, help to about, etc.), but no major impact.

  Summary

  I have been using PostCast server for years - but I always felt that it was too resource hungry. This is a lean program - well written. Probably not in Visual Basic - considering its small footprint - and therefore its excellent performance.

  SMTP works as promised. The program is fairly easy to setup. However, you might want to use their Flash tutorial before getting started. NICE FEATURE: If SMTP fails for some reason, it will allow you to fall back to ISP relay.

  I've tried many SMTP servers. The only one i liked b4 was postcast. But after downloading Qk and installing it, i have a new fav. Small footprint, doesn't take up much space on the HDD. Plus the ease of the settings are a definate plus. 3 menus that have all the settings. The stability is still being tested, but i would assume it's going to be a stable unit.
