PUB Viewer Pro lets you open and view Microsoft Publisher files without needing the full (and pricey) MS Office suite. It's a simple solution for folks who occasionally need to peek into a PUB file.

  • Pros

    • Installs quickly, unlike the bloat of MS Office. | The interface is clean and easy to navigate. | Can convert PUB files to other formats (paid version only). | It views PUB files without any fuss.

  • Cons

    • Free version is crippled; almost useless. | Extra page in free version is an irritating advertisement. | Many advertised features are locked behind a paywall. | It's not clear why it needs edit and page insertion in a viewer.
