This application extracts proxy lists from the Web, but that's the extent of its competence. ProxyList Grabber downloads page by page from the selected Web site, although you're only allowed to use the site included during the trial. First checkmark the site, click the tiny addition button, and select the pages you'd like downloaded one by one. After you hit the grab button on its classic interface, the list of proxies is viewable under the results list tab. You can save the list in a text or Excel file. That's it as far as this program goes. The proxy checker button doesn't actually check proxies--it simply launches the publisher's Web site--and the proxy settings aren't configurable in this version. Since free proxy lists aren't exactly the hardest things to come by, users can easily find a program that allows them to use the information it obtains.
