Supporting many languages and versions of Windows, it is expandable and allows you to create demos, rentals, and pay-per-use applications; provides immediate software activation via phone, fax, e-mail, or the Internet; extend a demo, rental, or lease for an additional period of time; turn on one or more menu options or applications in a suite; convert applications from single-user mode to multi-user mode; protect using either fixed or floating network licensing; modify the number of allowed network workstations; convert from a lite version to a professional version; increase or decrease a counter; and trigger any user-defined action.

I've looked at what they have to offer, and I was astounded about what I can do. With their "Internet" version and one of their other server products, I am able to do more than I even expected. I was a little weary at first, since their website and documentation is lacking some. All the information is there that I needed, but it was hard to track down. This is when I found out their technical support is awesome. Their tech lead was willing to step me through everything that I wanted to do, and how to get it working with my program. He spent most of the week talking me through everything, and how to setup every last detail. I was able to get the online unlocking with their solo service up and running in a week, along with implementing everything into my program. I am now able to give my customers the licensing information that they need to unlock my software on their computer at the time of the online purchase. I can even turn off licenses remotely, if the customer wants a refund. IÂ’ve even been able to setup the ability to download the update of my software through the program itself!!! All of this for half of what other companies are offering.

I bought Protection PLUS without even knowing this company has a fully integrated eCommerce platform which I consider a software company's dream. I had a little trouble getting started at first, but their top notch tech support department held my hand unti lthe light bulb went on. SOLO Server is a software company "backoffice in a box"... we now not only sell product keys to our software online but can track usage data, revoke licenses from customers, and track problems through an integrated ticketing system. Plus, it has an affiliate system, promotional engine, trial marketing features, and more. They were smart in how they designed this product to work for not only their own business but mine. I strongly suggest you look at SOLO Server when considering Protection PLUS.

Summary
This product is fantastic. I was able to quickly use their samples and protect my application. I lov e the flexibilty as I can do things like extend a demo, convert a demo to a full version, and pretty much anything else using an activation code. It's a very robust package and reasonably priced.

Found their customer service to be excellent. Went over the top to help me. Product is very stable and they have a free platform to promote and sell my software with merchant account.
