• Very questionable

  Very promising features.

  Cons

  I've considered Privazer, but had to decline installation since they are completely non-transparent about who & what they are. Their "corporate address" is fake (it's for an incorporation mill in Delaware), and they are not forthcoming about their background. I'm very surprised so many people have either overlooked or ignored this fact, that no one really knows who Privazer's distributor "Goversoft LLC" is and who or what is funding them.

  Pros

  -Really cleans privacy, leaves nothing. Ccleaner is meant for freeing up space more than privacy, whereas this is meant for privacy (but in doing so, seems to free more space as well). This is a must have on a shared computer! -Improves computer functioning. Although you mainly think of it as a privacy tool, it does dramatically improve functioning. -The registry cleaner alone works well. I have a Kerish Doctor trial, which will show registry errors but not correct them. So I ran this and checked again with Kerish Doctor and only 20 are left (there were 120). So far, its registry cleaning functionality seems safe...but be careful of course.

  Cons

  -The interface is a little cluttered/confusing, but nothing you can't get past. -Hard to say its safety for registry cleaning and optimization- I have not had a problem, but it doesn't have the popularity and track record of something like ccleaner, which has a very safe registry cleaning function.. -Not sure about how to deal with its logs/back-ups in terms of privacy- if it says what it deleted, then on a really public computer this may defeat the purpose...the next user can just restore your bank password. There are ways to turn this off, but just be aware of the privacy versus safety balance.

  Summary

  I would highly recommend, for privacy I don't think there is anything that could touch it. It also really improves system functioning!!

  Does all it says it will do and then some.

  Cons

  Somewhat slower than other cleaning programs, but the end result is worth the wait.

  Summary

  Of all the maintenance programs I've used over the past twenty years, this is by far the most efficient. I use it once a day. When shutting down for the evening I use the program, and when it's done its thing, it closes down. Next morning I find that everything is running faster and more efficiently because of that which has been accomplished by PrivaZer. I sound like a commercial, but what I say is fact and I recommend it highly.

• Fantastic Program

  Pros

  Cleans everything that you want cleaned. Very easy to use. Set it once, your done. It will also clean, very thoroughly, INTERNET traces, separately.

  Cons

  First time use. It takes a long time to accomplish initial cleaning.

  Summary

  A must have tool. Highly recommended. (Download quick, before someone wakes up, and they start to charge for this FANTASTIC tool.)

  Pros

  field tested by a heavy internet user, as programs are upgraded, deleted, or corrupted by either malware, virus, orphan files, or software confliction, you need a program that can be used after the programs are deleted or upgraded, to go behind the uninstall and check for partial or corrupted files so that the new install of said application works smoothly-Best of all this is a free program and I am impressed because I pay for a collection of programs that can not fix the problems mentioned however this program does

  Just use it and update your windows operating system if you are windows based and upgrade your memory sticks

  Pros

  - Way more in-depth than CCleaner - Good UI, well programmed: includes check boxes for restore-point creation, PC shutdown, etc. - Can create an exe (portable), without having to install on C

  Cons

  - May just be too much for a total novice user (most average and above-avg tech users will have no problem.)

  Summary

  Although the PC may actually be quicker because of removal of all the junk from disk/RAM etc., most average users with enough disk space, RAM and a fast-enough processor in their PCs may not actually notice any major speedup (I didn't.) But they can be assured of a much cleaner system overall; the good housekeeping will keep their system running hiccup free. Great tool.

• I Acutally Lost Some Disk Space

  One doesn't have to download the program, you can just run the application

  Cons

  Two hour cleaning, including the free space wipe. Many graphs and prompts, showing me how much junk was being eliminated. I checked all possible options, hoping for a lighter faster laptop. Started it back up and the drive was actually a little MORE full, and there was no change in startup or performance. Not wasting my time again.

  Summary

  I've used C-cleaner for years, why I thought that this thing would do any better is beyond me.

  i must agree with all the above comments . i run a duel boot pc with ubuntu os. which is noteably quicker.after running the software,it is now on par with ubuntu.not sluggish anymore. would recommend highly

• A Drive Cleaner On Steroids

  Pros

  This program really cleans. You have To See it to believe it. Has the ability to create a restore point or save registry before cleaning. This can also delete any other copies or versions of Windows you may have. A Nice Touch & Some People may get it just for that reason alone.

  Cons

  Hard to figure out. A little clumsy in the layout. A Little more effort needed to use than most like it but well worth it!

  Summary

  After running Ccleaner and then Wise disk cleaner I ran this. I couldn't believe my eyes. Privazer found another 6 Gigs to clean. That's right ^ gigs not megs or kilobits, BUT GIGS! This cleaner is what all the others want to be when they grow up.
