This application latches onto your Windows' Task Manager and provides a few more choices to manage processes. Prio integrates itself into your Task Manager and has no interface of its own. In the processes tab, the program highlights processes with green if they have a valid digital signature and red if they don't. Prio adds options to the right-click menu to validate a process and to save an assigned priority. When available, additional information such as file path and publisher is displayed when you place your cursor over a process. Prio adds Services and TCP/IP tabs, and with the first you can start, stop, or pause services, or change their start-up mode. The TCP/IP tab displays information about current connections. Anyone looking for more options for the Task Manager will appreciate this freeware program.
