- I downloaded both windows 7 32bit and windows 7 64bit and BOTH installed stopped and said wrong OS. I tried several times, even ran as admin... with no luck!!

- Installation to a W2K3 SP2 server caused the machine to repeatedly BSOD with the error NO MORE IRP STACK LOCATIONS. Only way to get ride of this thing was Safe Mode Without Networking and Uninstall

- Yes, priority is saved for SOME processes, but not all.

- It let's you go thru the motions, showing nothing to indicate that a particular process priority is not being saved. I thought this update would be better. But it's the same.

- I just wanted to save the priority of media player classic, so when it opens, higher-rate videos play better. But it will not save the setting for this item. I don't understand why it wouldn't. If anyone knows of a similar product, but one that works, please tell in a reply. Thanks.

- A small program but a great tool, one of those that you really wonder why shouldn't be already embedded in any OS.

Unmasks those weird process names!

- Quickly color-codes process names that bear a second look as to their legitimacy.

- It does need to access the net to look up the process names, and report their affiliation. (My Zone Alarm snitches on this.)

- Saves consternation when trying to determine the parentage of those cryptic processes that show up in Task Manager. Hover your cursor over one, and a tip pops up saying (usually) what program it belongs to, and its publisher. Sure beats trying to remember them all, or doing an internet search for the unfamiliar actors. All this applies whether or not you want to assign or change priorities of process.

- I have a recording program that is a processor hog, but shouldn't be. Tech support could not solve the problem. Prio solved this issue for me. Great little program.

- - Simple and clean install, no ad-aware or such things. <p> <p>- Adds two new tabs to the Task Manager ("Services" and "TCP/IP") which are useful in seeing what is running and when. <p> <p>- This program highlights accepted programs (determined by the user or the program) in green and non-accepted programs in red. The non-accepted programs can be changed to green when you know what they are. Very useful if another program you have not marked as green shows up. (note that being red doesn't do anything but let you know this program has not been checked by you.)
