• Don't bother, doesn't work

  Pros

  None whatsoever - unless you're looking for something that simply reboots the system and forgets to run after the reboot!

  Cons

  I was looking for something to do a chkdsk on an external drive where XP's chkdsk was being "stubborn". All this programme did was reboot the system - that's it, nothing more, no matter what options were chosen. Utter waste of time.

  Tarda demasado tiempo en completar el proceso (casi 7 horas) en un dico de 120 GB de capacidad tipo IDE con Windows XP Pro SP3

  None. Can't really find any.

  Worse than junk... one should really just defrag in safe mode. It hangs and gods know when I can pull the plug. And there is lamest excuse from its website http://www.powerdefrag.co.za/article.php?id=1

  Don't ever use it... even if it is free... actually even someone pay you to use it. Unless you don't care if you data will get all lost.

  Yikes! I wanted a simple defrag that I could use to defrag my USB external hard drive which would actually defrag the free space as well. The built-in Windows defrag utility doesn't do this. The first thing this utility did was reboot my computer and take over 100% control of the system while it ran its defrag in the foreground, before explorer started. I was forced to go do something else for the hour that it took to run (200Gb drive). What a steaming pile of crap this utility was. My computer is worthless for an hour, while their $30 software defrags my external drive. As soon as it finished, I uninstalled it, praying that my data was intact.

• Worked Great on Old Windows ME OS

  Pros

  I could not get the standard Microsft accessory programs 'Scandisk ' or 'Disk Defragment" to work on my old Windows ME computer. Power Defrag tackled it and after seven hours it finished the task! <p> <p>Also did a quick defrag on my laptop running Windows Vista Business.

  Cons

  It appears that blank partions are not compacted, thus a disk defragmentation with the Microsoft application is neccessary to complete the process. A minor inconvenience for a useful application

  Pros

  How can I tell if it downloaded or not? I have no icons or it isn't on my add/remove programs list. I have been trying to download this software for several days but keep getting messages saying "object...site blocked." Can you help me resolve this issue? (Or did it download?)

  It reminded me of windows 3.1 with its pathetic interface. That was good for a laugh.

  Cons

  This product is worthless and at the cost of $30.00 is a total waste. If you want a good defrag program I suggest looking elsewhere. As stated by a different reviewer you can do the same things as this in safemode. Not Impressed!
