Developer’s Description

Calculate the sum of selected number of pixels.
Pixel Quantification is a filter to calculate the sum of pixels above a level threshold. It has been primarily developed for biological protein strand analysis. The filter will automatically invert the image. Left click in the preview window on a dark area to specify the selection marquee for the background (BG) level, change your Marquee width and height if needed, lick 'Derive BG Level' to calculate the average pixel level of the selected pixels, left click in the preview window again to specify your new selection, and click 'Quantitate > BG' to calculate the total sum of the levels of all pixels within the selection marquee greater than the 'BG level' threshold.
