PickMeApp Light is a portable software tool transferring about a million personalized programs from one Windows PC to another. PickMeApp's Add and Remove Programs like interface guides you through the capture of a selected program without the need to locate CDs. When complete, your program and customization is packaged as a single executable. No changes were made to the original program. Then the installation package may be used to reinstall the original program with its settings on any Windows PC with a single click. The transfer can be easily reversed.

PickMeAppLight can be used to backup programs as well as to help upgrading Windows operating system ( Windows XP to Windows 7 , Windows 7 to Windows 8). PickMeAppLight supports program transfers from Windows 32 to Windows 64 bit as well.PickMeAppLight is based on the PickMeApp Application Manager software.
