Despite the ease of online photo-gallery services such as Flickr and Webshots, many digital photographers prefer to create their own sites. This software helps create an online image gallery quickly, with little HTML knowledge needed. Images can be easily imported into a gallery, and you can preview them simply by pointing to them. A limited number of configuration options include the ability to resize photos and create thumbnails, and you can set page parameters such as rows and columns. However, this relative ease of use was undermined by a handful of occasionally serious HTML coding mistakes in the final Web gallery produced. Until these bugs are fixed, we can't recommend this software over other tools in the same category.

Works, relatively easy to use for beginners.

Pros
Didn't have much trouble figuring it out by just playing around with it. GUE is limited but straight forward and not hard to navigate. Inexpensive.
Cons
Couldn't figure out the internal upload manager, but was able to work around that by uploading the files with WS_FTP, which I prefer to use anyway.
Summary
Maybe. More advanced users probably won't like it, but it's good for beginners who just want a simple gallery maker they can figure out. Trial version only allows 12 photos. I'm still looking for a freeware.
