  * It's super fast! * Lots of customization * It copies multiple drives and folders at the same time * You can save your copy parameters * Small size and frequent updates

  * Setting up your preferences can be daunting for some

  Summary

  Personal Backup is a great backup program. I have tried many alternatives out there thinking there could be a better one. I was wrong. Personal Backup is your best solution, period!

  Pros

  -Takes one location and copies it to any location of your desire -Has many features and options to customize how you want it done -Simple UI makes it very easy to learn -Compresses files to save space (I personally don't do that to save time) -No ads. No limitations.

  Cons

  Settings and preferences are a little scattered; there's no single window that displays all settings.

  Summary

  I'm new to backing up and I know backup programs are personal preference on how its done; but this one hit the spot for me. It doesn't create some random file that only this program reads, it literally copies file for file the contents of a folder into another. Sadly its hard to find something like this. Couldn't ask for more!

• Fantastic and Easy Back-Up Utility (I'm a newbie)

  Pros

  Every Icon when hovered over explains clearly what it does. There are many, simple options, but not way over the top. Easy to chose single files to back-up. I used a USB Stick and encountered no problems. You can choose to compress files. You can back up from a time stated so as not to recopy files. Option to encrypt with a password too. Options to schedule or not. The UI is easy to nagivate around and it is all easily understandable.

  Cons

  For me, there isn't any.

  Summary

  I wanted a Back-Up utility/program that would allow me to just back up a certain folder(s) and not a whole drive or directory. I am a newbie to back-up software so I found this one suited my needs perfectly. It is incredibly easy to use and was not overwhelming. It's options are just enough and configurable. For someone who has been overloaded by back-up software finding them a bit complex and/or unsuitable, this one I conquered very easily. Plus it's for 64-bit machines. My needs were for single file and folder back-ups and this software done that perfectly. It's very good.
