Manage your schedules with a unique alarm for hard sleepers.

pAssistant is a time management tool that lets you set up multiple one time or recurrent alarm to prepare your schedule. It also has a unique feature to help hard sleepers to get up from the bed. Unlike many other applications it does not have any limits on how many entries you can make. By changing the desktop color (not background image) you can change the color of the clock, so show off your color with your very own scheduler. If you are a hard sleeper probably this clock is going to solve the problem of missing appointments because of sleep. Just turn on Use paragraph to snooze, you will see the difference. With a promise to spread the word, pAssistant is entirely free for use. Version 1.01 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Summary
I'm curious as to why this program is still available for download. If none of the editors here have bothered to investigate and post a response either supporting (in which case the program should be removed!) or negating lucindasfortune's review it shakes my confidence in the integrity of *any* programs available here.

Pros
Great for things like b-days, appointments, casual reminders.
Cons
Doesn't provide an option for bi-weekly or twice monthly reminders, so it was useless to me. Also didn't like that it didn't have it's own uninstall process, had to go through Add/Remove programs.

So did people who downloaded this and got infected with spyware and a virus just not feel like taking time out of their day to warn others???? <p> <p>If you download and install this - be prepared to spend a couple of hours working on your PC to get it functional again. <p> <p>Hint - use hijack this and fix anything that says msmdev.dll <p> <p>uninstall the application. <p> <p>If you download this you will get "Secure PC Cleaner" pop ups - "Confident Surf" popups - fake windows warnings you cannot close - if you do - by right clicking or even opening up the process manager and ending a task - it will only open up a new browser window telling you you need to download the above programs. <p> <p>You will get a Trojan W32.looksky error - which is probably a fake error in itself. <p> <p>It will hijack your computer and change your wallpaper <p> <p>Do not download it.

I like the simplicity of the product. It has all the necessary functions and nothing extra to complicate the use. The background color idea is really nice, as its going to be with me all the time so it will be nice to get a different feel by just changing the background color.

this is a nice useful product, no advertisement. I love the capability to snooze with paragraph and ability to change color. Plus the size is perfect for any computer. I highly recommended :)
