Had exactly what we needed

Pros
We've been running silent auctions for our non-profit (school) for years and it is always a lot of manual work. PearlBids has made it a lot easier. I checked out some of the other programs available and some on-line ones too, but we couldn't afford them... we are a non-profit, as in no money! I can't say whether PearlBids is better than the others, because I couldn't try them, but I can say that it works for us and the price is right.
Cons
It took me a bit longer than expected to figure it out.
Summary
A good, relatively simple, downloadable, silent auction management package at a price I can afford.

Pros
I like having this be so easy to enter our information - before, we used contact lists, paper and many more separate docs; this is all inclusive; MUCH cheaper than what I have seen listed for BFG and the PearlBids does not keep any profit.
Cons
One of our parents has a PC and was not able to use the program - my Mac loves it tho
