Enter lines, curves, azimuths, compass points and section calls. Data can be entered using the convenient Data Entry Form or freehand using word processor style entry. Calls can also be easily drawn using the call drawing tool. Background pictures can be set to scale with your plot drawing. Background picture scale settings can be automatically set using World Files. Layers allow you to have multiple deeds on a single drawing. Layers can be free floating or locked to a common starting point. Square Feet, Acres, Hectares, perimeter distance and more. Calculate closure errors: closing error ratios and the call needed to close the plot. Apply Compass Rule Adjustments.

This is a great app for checking legal descriptions and making sure the various courses come full circle and close. And it verifies acreage, which is great! Took me some time to figure out how to use it, but it has made me a better real estate attorney when checking title reports and just feeling comfortable that the legal description actually describes a parcel that looks like I am expecting it to look. Of course, until I figured out how to use it, I was coming up with some interesting shapes, but once I figured out how to enter each course, it worked perfectly! The developer has been constantly refining and updating this app, and it keeps getting better and better and easier to use with more features. Support this developer for creating a Macintosh version of this app and continuing to improve it! And, there is even an iPhone/iPad version!

Have had no qualms about the total acreage/area output. Every time I finish a plat it registers the same acreage as called for in the deed. Kudos (again) to the developer!
Well worth the money!

This is NOT a program that would be used by a licensed surveyor, but it one heck of a great tool for real estate agents and home owners that need a visual representation of property taken from a metes and bounds description on a deed. Developer is VERY responsive to suggestions and comments. As a real estate broker, this program has saved me plenty of time, money and headaches - and maybe some ticks and snakebites!

Little things don't work, like cmd-s for saving, cmd-w for closing window, the window doesn't show the title of the saved file, etc. I wanted to know the acrage of my land and it calculated that just like I had hoped (although I have no way of checking it's accuracy). The author made recommonded changes real quickly.
