Don't be fooled by the size of PDFMoto's download file. This is no simple PDF converter, but a full-blown Web-publishing system. PDFMoto monitors a PC or network directory. When it detects a new or modified document, it automatically converts it to the PDF format and publishes it on your Web site. It can just as easily monitor multiple directories and publish to different locations. Users don't need to know anything about PDFs or Web publishing. They create content in their familiar applications and can even post files through a Web browser. In our tests, PDFMoto quickly converted documents in batch mode and didn't put an unreasonable strain on our system. The only drawback is the price. The freeware version adds a watermark to each converted file, so it isn't very useful on its own. However, if your office is constantly making PDFs for the Web, PDFMoto is well worth your time.

For all of you out there who, like us have had a great deal of difficulty producing and maintaining a website of not only professional appearance but up to date content, then look no further than this little miracle. It really does do everything for you (and probably more than you'll ever need!). All you do is throw the content you want included in your website at it and baddabing, this box of tricks will convert your content from it's native format into PDF and build a website (including all navigation) for you. Just sit back, relax and let the boss think you're the best! You'd be mad to miss one!
The only product I found that created websites as well as converting docs

Why pay $349? Getting the actual Adobe (Acrobat) standard program is only $299. And for those that don't have the money, if you have the time, you can download the openoffice.org office suite program for free. Openoffice imports word files and well as other formats and has a convert to pdf function. Its a complete office suite so it is a big program to download (over 50 MB). But I felt it was worth it, even with my slow dial up connection

Using the original folder structure as a basis PDFMoto builds entire web sites or areas within larger sites. Navigation and linking are automatically created. The look and feel can be matched to your existing design using an XML template system. Now includes PDF batch conversion.

Version 1.6.1.1 adds batch conversion and supports hyperlink.
