  Pros

  Program layout looks nice.

  Cons

  Depending on your settings, this program either loads up every line with code in every paragraph or does virtually nothing. Unreadable HTML result in at least older versions of Dreamweaver. I found it to work much worse than even PageMaker 6.5. I had to search Program Files for App to do a Shortcut. For $59, it should work well.

  Pros

  Seems like it would be easy to use if it actually produced an output that looked like the original pdf. You can drag and drop files, convert in batches, add meta tags. Unlike most software it isn't so overloaded with features that the majority of individual who simply want basic features can't figure out how to use it.

  Cons

  Conversion simply looked nothing like the original pdf. Seems to have selected a bunch of non standard fonts, the images weren't there. the online conversion tool at gohtm actually produced an output that looks like the original, but they only allow 2 meg conversions which isn't particularly helpful since so many pdfs are larger than that. The other 2 i've tried (pdf995 has an omni something tool which also does a bunch of conversion but sadly the one thing they're missing is pdf to hmtl; and adobe has a tool for the blind but that doesn't covert images). Also, when I tried to convert from files on a CD it gave me 5 errors, 1 for each file. Presumably this is because it tried to replace the files on the CD and couldn't. Something worth looking at since I'm sure not everyone will figure this out. If these folks want to contact me I don't mind putting in 30 minutes to help them troubleshoot this stuff, I'm sure it'll work better after they itterate a bit.
