  It is free. Easy to use. Just download your raw web log files, put them into a zip file, then navigate to that zip file with this program. The program produces pages, graphics, and graphs that make your web logs meaningful.

  Pros

  Simple, intuitive interface. Report gives an insight into what visitors are doing, and where they came from. I would not hesitate to buy the full version if I needed the extra features.

  Pros

  It was very easy to setup and configure, which I was happy with. I am using this to analyze the logs from my 1and1.com site. Their tech support couldn't give a valuable answer about logs and bandwidth if their lives depended on it, so I had to go out and find a tool to help me. This one does the trick! It reads ZIPped logs, which is essential for 1and1 users. 1and1 users should download their site logs to a folder on their computer, and use this tool on them. The results are very informative, particularly the screen that tells you how much bandwidth you've used so far. You can't find that out in the company's admin interface.

  Maybe a little too simple, but for the price, I think it is great.

  Pros

  Easy install and setup - no messing with ini files. <p>Reads zipped log files. <p>User-friendly reports. <p>You can tweak some aspects of the reports in the config files - for example, you can add new browsers to the pre-defined list.

  Cons

  No ability to email the generated reports, or save reports to a chosen directory

  Pros

  It took minutes to set up and you don't need to be an expert programmer, like with AWstats. My web site is hosted with my ISP and although they do have a web log, they have no software to help me anlayse it. This program gave me the information I was looking for and it sure beats a stupid hit counter. I just copy and paste my log file from the ftp: of my domain to my hard drive. Simple stuff.

  Cons

  This free version doesn't adequately identify the referring source and doesn't let you view stats within a date range other than that of the log file. The browser identification feature does not adequately identify browser types.

  There are some nice details of web visits. It's good for offline viewing of statistics.

  Most of the details this program provides in the freeware version can be found using your web host's control panel.

  Pros

  This is an extremely simple and easy web log analyzer. It offers all the key reports you would need for a basic analysis of web site traffic. The graphs and reports are attractive and easy to read. The program runs very quickly, even on large log files.

  Cons

  The free version requires that you download all of your log files to a local drive before analyzing. It's not really a huge con given the price.

  I had to register to complement this software. Excellent tool for any webmaster. Analyzes log files and displays the information in an easily readable presentation, including graphs.
