  Pros

  I tried to use a freebee called PDFFill and it kept crasing with files larger than aprox. 200 pages. So I tried this one which is relatively cheap and it did the job AMAZINGLIY FAST. I merged a file of about 1200 pages in just a couple of seconds.

  Cons

  I wish it had an integrated Decrypt feature.

  It does what it says . . . really fast.

  Nothing fancy, just good, quick, fast program. splits PDFs into single-page files and merges PDF files into a single file, can also password protect your PDF file, and Repair corrupted??? PDFs (I haven't tried PSWD & Repair Options). I don't know about free trial download, just bought it straight-out. It's pretty cheap

  Pros

  You can split up and reorder PDFs very easily. Drag and drop capability, which is different than a lot of the other programs. This program also lets you password protect a PDF file so you need a password to open, or to print the document. Recommend.

  Cons

  It has a repair PDF function, which works really well for corrupted PDF files, but some PDFs just can't be repaired no matter what.

  I'm constantly updating my CV and recently needed to email it. I had a cover page from my old CV and some updated pages from my new CV. Easy PDF Splitter and Merger couldn't be easier to use. I just dropped the files into the application, pressed SPLIT, picked the pages I needed and then clicked on MERGE. It created my PDF instantly! And without any annoying headers or footers like other programs that advertise their name on your PDF. Easy and Quick Installation!

  Well first of all... this was in the "free" category, not the "free to try" category. I'm pretty sure a piece of software with a "30 day trial" should go in the "free to try section" but that's just me. As far as the software itself goes I got an unhanded exception when I tried to do just about anything... there is nothing unique about my operating system or computer... windows xp, dell inspiron blah blah blah. Please don't waste the world's time by uploading software that doesn't work. There is always the slim chance that I faced some unique circumstance that caused it not to work but I'm doubtful...
