This single-function application boosts your system speed significantly, although it's unclear exactly what modifications it performs on computers. PCSpeeder comes as a zip file and requires no installation. Upon running the program, it launches a command window that quickly closes after it's done. Our tests showed a considerable change in system speed when running programs with large file sizes and while surfing the Internet. Unfortunately, it's unclear what modifications were made to the system to boosts its performance, since the program only ran for a few seconds in a command window. Nonetheless, users looking for an efficient tool to speed up their systems will surely find this freeware reliable.

~ Made my computer 10-15% faster. ~ Takes up little space. ~ Fast, easy download.
Cons
You don't know what the heck it does to make it go faster.
Summary
My review is pretty much the same as most others': It worked to make my computer noticeably faster, but it's kind of weird because I don't know how it works, or even where the .exe is stored.
Mal-ware Ad-ware call it what you will watch out!

Extremely quick. I hate it when pgms install tediously, and this one was, well, really light! And it did speed up the PC significantly, or if it didn't, my imagination must have been sped up!

I used it the first time, and it sped up my internet connection massively. Don't know what it did.....but it worked. Amazing!

Like everyone else, I'm a bit curious what it does, that nothing else seems to do.

I recommend it highly. I am always a bit apprehensive on using some of these freeware products on this site, but all the one's I've used so far have been excellent. This one in particular, does something spectacular.

DOS install-Yes,as described.(Novice?DOS is typically a Window with a Black Background /white text )But as far as enhanced performance,speed increase of anykind-None-installed and ran It on a Laptop as well as a Desktop

I found NO effect on anything at alll,I tried It in 2 PC environments,Laptop and Desktop.Only thing I saw It was using memory in processes.So I know It was running.This product just leaves me asking;"And your Point Is?"...Skip this one Folks

This is not something I found to be good bad or indifferent,Bottom line It did nothing I could see-tested it with pre-installed performance monitoring software I regulary use,found nothing one way or the other.That being the case-I found no information from the PCspeeder 3 product either that says what It supposedly does.So other than the Quick-flash of the good ole' DOS window-"ooo pretty" during install-It is Something that supossedly does Something ,that actually did nothing.
