Editors’ Review
This is a program that promises to optimize your system for better performance, but makes no effort to personalize settings for your hardware and operating system.
PCHeal's far-too-simple interface only offers settings for processor type and operating system. The average user won't take more than a few seconds to set the options and press Go. There are only two repair settings available. Heal uses settings the publisher has deemed average while Heal and Boost promises individualized improvements based on your system's hardware and operating system. However, the demo disables the latter, while the former made no measurable improvements in our tests. PCHeal does nothing to inform users what system settings it queries and deems in need of improvement. Though there is a simple button to reset settings back to original values, there is no listing of changes made to ensure all settings are restored.
PCHeal doesn't give users any indication of before and after system speeds. There are no methods to pick and choose what settings will be altered. To make a true test of the program for a particular system, PCHeal must be registered. With no possibility to configure this software for your system, and no measurable improvement shown by our tests, we can't recommend this tool.
