Editors’ Review
There's one bit of advice we can give you about this nosy little program that's supposed to protect your computer: Don't install it. PC Pinpoint Proactive Alerts has a series of convoluted information screens under a menu that does little more than serve up an About dialog box. You are asked to enter a lot of personal information to register to use this program. It then spends quite a while scanning your PC. It displays a list of programs it finds, but divulges no useful information.
After the scan completes, PC Pinpoint Proactive Alerts displays a screen of questions a typical user may ask of system troubleshooting software. Choosing a question merely brings up a screen promoting a pay-for-help service.
It asks a lot of the user, but delivers next to nothing in return. We can't think of a single reason to recommend this software.
