Quickly lock or unlock your computer using any USB flash drive.

PB Screen Lock quickly locks your computer whenever you remove your enrolled USB flash drive, and then unlocks your computer whenever you re-insert the same device. It lets you use your USB flash drive like a "house key" for your computer. Screen lock does not keep any information on your computer hard disk - all information used by PB Screen Lock is erased when the program exits, either when you log off or when you press the Exit button. Any USB flash drive can be used with Screen Lock. Screen Lock uses the unique serial number of the USB flash drive that is stored inside the device firmware. PB Screen creates a separate Windows "desktop" without any other processes or Windows hooks to jeopardize keeping your screen locked. No special Windows shortcuts are available in this secure desktop. PB Screen Lock pauses your screen save while it has your desktop locked, and then re-enables the screen saver when you unlock your desktop. This is even true for password protected screen savers.

Easy to Use with my USB Flash or Password Booster

Pros
Easy to lock my computer when I need to leave my office for any period of time and need to leave my computer running. I was able to load the software onto my flash drive in less than 5 minutes. While locked, my desktop can not be seen by anyone. When I return and plug my USB drive back in the screen unlocks and I can pick up where I left off.
Cons
Have not found any yet. Suggest that in the future I would be able to pick the background color that is displayed when the screen is 'locked'. But functionaly it works...
Summary
This Password Booster Screen Lock is actually an addition for me. I already have the Password Booster which I have been using for a few months now. So I have installed the Screen Lock on both my USB drive and Password Booster. The Password Booster allows me to log into my computer with only a 'seed' password to remember. Then with the touch of a button a 15 character encrypted password is generated. Great for me...when my company changed their policy to have to have at least 12 character password...I don't have to remember that!
